California Taxpayers To Get 2 Extra Days To File

California taxpayers will get an extra two days to file and pay their 2006 state income taxes, announced the Franchise Tax Board (FTB). The Internal Revenue Service today announced the new April 17, 2007, deadline, and the FTB quickly changed the California deadline to mirror the federal action.

Northbound 405 Re-Opens After Crane Accident

All lanes of the Northbound 405 have now been re-opened! Traffic is still recovering from the hours it was closed, but at this point it is at least moving. The 405 had been shut down due to a crane that fell following a car accident. This occurred in Sherman Oaks, very close to the 101 interchange.
