Henry Mayo Hospital Turns To Backups After Power Outage

Update: Monday 2:30 p.m. A power outage just after 11:30 Monday morning zapped the juice from roughly 3,200 customers initially, according to Southern California Edison Spokeswoman Anna Frutos-Sanchez. Included in that initial outage was a portion of the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital campus. The outage prompted a switch to backup energy sources, and the hospital continued to function.   ...
