Details: Santa Clarita Veteran Services Collaborative is pleased to present Santa Clarita Veteran & Family Health Day. This is a day of free breakout sessions dealing with such topics as PTSD ‘s impact on the family, what to expect when your vet returns home, stress reducing strategies for all, and local resources and referrals. Presenters include Retired Colonel, Carl Castro, PhD., 33-year Army vet, Chairman, NATO – Committee on Transitioning from Military to Civilian Life and Master Sergeant Charlotte Jennings, a certified suicide prevention counselor and consultant. Open to all, ages 13 and older, with registration starting at 8:30 AM including a free continental breakfast and free Jersey Mike’s lunch.
