Two minor injuries were reported as a result of the incident, according to officials.

According to Ventura County Fire Department’s Public Information Office Twitter, the pilot reported a power failure and attempted to land in a nearby riverbed.
Ventura County Sheriff’s officials are currently conducting an investigation into the exact nature and cause of that power failure.
