Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology is gearing up to hold a “Lunch and Learn” event, followed by an Open House, next week.

On Monday, April 16, the first of a series of “Lunch and Learn” events centered around hearing health is set to take place at a restaurant in Santa Clarita, where attendees can enjoy a meal, hearing screening and a discussion about a hearing-related topic.

“We would like to educate people about communication and hearing,” Aronson said in a previous interview, encouraging interested residents to call the office at Advanced Audiology to make their required reservation. “We only have 20 seats.”

Then continuing on Tuesday, April 17 and Wednesday, April 18, Advanced Audiology is planning to host an Open House at their office, complete with giveaways, discounts and information on new hearing technology.

“We will be giving away free food, we’ll be giving away discounts and probably a George Foreman grill,” Aronson said, noting reservations are required. “So call our office today.”

As always, Aronson is offering free hearing screenings at Advanced Audiology, with a goal of giving 2,018 free hearing screenings in Santa Clarita in 2018 — an increase from the 1,500 screenings done last year.

“We don’t want there to be anything standing in the way of somebody at least knowing what they need to do about their communication to lead a better social life,” Aronson said in a previous interview. “So we provide that.”

In her usual spirit of generosity, Aronson also gave away three-day, two-night vacations to two lucky residents who called in after listening to Aronson’s appearance on the KHTS show “The Senior Hour” in March.

“Advanced Audiology has taken on a role to be more involved in our community,” Aronson said. “We love helping other people.”

Advanced Audiology was founded in 2010 by Santa Clarita audiologist Nola Aronson, who has been fitting hearing aids for more than 30 years. Advanced Audiology is the largest diagnostic hearing center in the Santa Clarita Valley, focusing on clients with hearing loss, tinnitus, ears ringing and more.
