Set to take place Sept. 11 and 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a break for lunch, the open house will feature a hearing aid designed by the company Oticon for those interested in a simplistic solution to their hearing loss.
“Oticon has been around 150 years, and they have this … wonderful hearing aid that is not complicated — it’s a very simple type of hearing aid,” said Aronson.

Appointments are required for the open house, and Aronson noted that attendees will receive special pricing during the event only, along with the chance to win a brand new George Foreman grill.
In addition, open house attendees can take advantage of the free hearing screenings and education available year-round through Advanced Audiology.
Aronson noted that most people regularly get their eyes, teeth and heart checked out by doctors, but typically don’t consider having their ears checked as well.
“We do free hearings screenings so you can get a baseline to see where your hearing is at,” Aronson said. “We’re not just there to ‘sell’ hearing aids — we’re there to educate people about how to improve their communication skills and their social lives and just so you have more knowledge about where you’re at.”
