Nola Aronson of Advanced Audiology, a sponsor of this year’s Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival set for Saturday, helped promote the charitable event by inviting one of the organizers to participate during her regular appearance on the KHTS show, “The Senior Hour.”

The 6th annual Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival benefiting the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley is scheduled to take place Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. at Reyes Winery, located on Sierra Highway in Santa Clarita.

“Advanced Audiology has taken on a role to be more involved in our community,” Aronson said of her decision to be a stage sponsor for the festival. “Our community is very philanthropic and our community loves wine and having fun, and we love helping other people.”

The Sierra Pelona Valley Wine Festival features numerous wineries and local wine makers offering tastings of their best wines, in addition to gourmet food and specialty items sampling, handmade crafts from local artisans, live music, a silent and live auction and much more.

“It’s been really exciting; we’ve got a lot of new vendors,” said Beth Heiserman of Reyes Winery. “Mercedes Benz is donating the wine glasses and the wine bags this year, so when you go home you’ll have something nice to take home with you.”

In addition to the specialty event glass, attendees will also receive an event plate, specialty gift bag, wine and food sampling and free parking.

General admission pre-pay tickets are available online for $85 each, with “Designated Driver” tickets also available for $40. Those with a large group can even purchase group ticket packages with 20 general admission tickets for $1,300.

Donations can also be made directly to the Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley — the local chapter of a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy — on the Sierra Pelona Vintners Association website.

“Beth and I have been doing this a number of years at Reyes Winery,” said Aronson. “It’s always a fabulous event, and I love to help out. And this is a good cause this year with helping women.”

Advanced Audiology was founded in 2010 by Santa Clarita audiologist Nola Aronson, who has been fitting hearing aids for more than 30 years. Advanced Audiology is the largest diagnostic hearing center in the Santa Clarita Valley, focusing on clients with hearing loss, tinnitus, ears ringing and more.
