Saugus Vehicle Fire Spreads To Nearby Garage

A vehicle fire in Saugus caused minor damage to a nearby home after spreading to the garage Saturday afternoon.

A vehicle fire broke out on Lanfranca Drive in Saugus Saturday, causing minor damage to the garage of a nearby resident, according to officials.

Fire officials were dispatched at approximately 3:37 p.m., according to a spokesman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Knockdown was declared less than ten minutes later.

The cause of the vehicle fire is still under investigation.
