Valencia (4-0) continues to dominate in the Foothill League and has yet to allow a team to reach 40 points. Friday, the Vikings held Saugus (1-3) scoreless in the 1st quarter and the Centurions didn’t make it to double digits in any quarter thereafter, ultimately falling 56-18.
The Canyon Cowboys (3-1) are working to put last week’s beatdown by Valencia behind them, which started Friday at West Ranch (0-4). There, the Cowboys led the Wildcats in a back-and-forth game throughout before pulling away in the 4th quarter to go home with a 59-43 win.

Valencia and Hart’s storied rivalry will write a new chapter in 2016 as both undefeated teams face off for the inside track at the Foothill League banner on Tuesday.
Both the Vikings and the Indians have been untouchable by the rest of the league quite literally. Neither team has conceded a goal through the first four matches of the league season.
Friday was more of the same as five different scorers got on the board for Valencia in a 5-0 rout at home against Canyon (1-3). The Vikings have shown an ability to come out of halftime focused on putting teams away, scoring 13 of their 20 league goals in the 2nd half.
Just another ho-hum shutout for the defending champion Indians, unbeaten since mid-December after a 3-0 win against Golden Valley (0-4).
The two 4-0 teams kickoff at 5 pm Tuesday.
Elsewhere in the Foothill League West Ranch and Saugus played to a 1-1 draw, firmly entrenched in a battle for 3rd place.
