Santa Clarita Gazette Radio Hour – January 8, 2016

KHTS Senior News Director Heather Harbin joins the guys in studio to deliver some of the latest news and happenings in the Santa Clarita Valley, including the potential benefits an NFL relocation to Los Angeles would have on our valley and the effects that rainfall had on local roads and businesses. Ms. Harbin also reported a story on a Santa Clarita resident being sentenced to 26 years in federal prison after a road rage incident in which he permanently damaged a woman’s eye with a BB gun.

The guys are also joined by Robert Patrick Lewis, a former Green Beret turned author of the three-part series, The Pact. Mr. Lewis and the guys discuss the 2016 election along with other pressing issues, such as the current positioning and issues involving the stock market.

From Mr. Lewis’ website, lovemewhenimgone.com:

By the end of his service, Mr. Lewis earned the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, NATO non-article 5 medal, two Army Commendation Medals, Special Forces Tab, Combat Infantry Badge, Airborne wings, Iraq Campaign Medal with star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and many ribbons for his exploits with the Army.

He now lives in Texas, is attending Colorado State University for his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, works as an Investment Advisor Representative and contributor to, among others, The Santa Clarita Gazette and is the national correspondent for KHTS.

Doug and John look forward to the weekend in sports and break down the upcoming NFL Playoff match ups with former NFL fullback Brandon Miree, who spent his professional career with the Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos.
