Set to take place at the sanctuary in Agua Dulce on Saturday, Oct. 15, a group of dedicated volunteers will strive to bring awareness about the daily life of a shelter dog by spending up to 24 hours in a kennel with the dog of their choice. Residents can ‘buy’ their freedom for $1 a minute,” with tax-deductible donations still being accepted online. An open house will feature time with the rescue dogs, a silent auction, raffles, food, sanctuary tours and much more. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes for the “Howloween” themed event. For more information, click here, call (661) 713-5240 or email [email protected]
