Irrigating a Sustainable Landscape – Thursday, April 18 at 6:30 PM

April showers bring May flowers, but what if we don’t get rain? You’ll need to know how to
effectively and efficiently irrigate your landscape! SCV Water can help you learn more about best
irrigation practices with our free April Garden class offerings.

For many, landscape irrigation can seem a bit tricky, but it doesn’t have to be. Join us Saturday,
April 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to learn about the uses and components of Drip
Irrigation. Other types of high-efficiency irrigation options will also be discussed. Participants
will learn how to install a drip system in their own landscape.

Successful systems match your landscape with the types of irrigation your grass and plants
need. Come learn about Irrigating a Sustainable Landscape on Thursday, April 19 from 6:30
p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Participants will learn about irrigation system design and operation basics
including drip irrigation and new high efficiency spray technology.

This is the time of year to fine tune your irrigation system so it’s in top shape condition for the
hot summer months!

The instructor for the April classes is Tim Wheeler. Tim has degrees in both Horticulture
