Who/What: SCV Waters February Classes “Design a Sustainable Landscape”

Details: A useful landscape is one that meets your needs. Whether you’re looking for something
sustainable or edible, SCV Water has free February gardening classes to suit your taste.
Whether you have a blank slate or a landscape in need of a makeover, you can Design a
Sustainable Landscape. Join us Thursday, February 7 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to
learn how to incorporate sustainable gardening concepts in your project. You can preserve
natural resources, be water-wise, and still have a landscape that meets your needs.

The instructor for the Thursday, February 7 class is Tim Wheeler. Tim has degrees in both
Horticulture Science and Park Administration. He has been in the Green Industry for over 25
years. During that time, he has specialized in landscape management, landscape education,
and water conservation. Tim has held a number of certifications and licenses
including Certified Arborist, Water Use Efficiency Practitioner, and Certified Landscape Water
Auditor.

Where: All classes are held at SCV Water, located at 27234 Bouquet Canyon Road, Santa Clarita.
