A Stevenson Ranch man was arrested this week after he allegedly bit his neighbor on the cheek during a verbal argument earlier this month.

On Saturday October 10, deputies responded to the 24900 block of Constitution Avenue in Stevenson Ranch regarding an altercation between two neighbors, said Shirley Miller, a spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“A verbal argument allegedly escalated, during which (the suspect) reportedly punched the victim and bit the victim on the cheek,” Miller said.

On Monday, deputies located Rodrigo Hernandez, 46, from Stevenson Ranch and charged him with assault with a deadly weapon, a felony, according to Miller.

He was transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail and was released on bond the same day, according to Miller.
