Dave Drulias from Because We Can – Because We Care joins our Morning Drive program to discuss how the program rescues horses and how those animals, in turn, benefit the people that work with them.
The organization is hosting a fundraiser on December 28th from five to nine p.m. at Solita, located within the Valencia Town Center.
Solita will be donating 20% of each bill that day to BWC2 in support of their programs that help our American Veterans and Special Needs Children.

The mission of Because We Can – Because We Care (BWC2) is to heal the spirit and lives of both the horses and people that we work with by building Trust, Confidence and Respect between them.
Our primary goal is to give back to society by enriching the lives of our American Veterans, First Responders, and Special Needs & Disabled Children who experience various challenges ranging from physical disabilities, developmental delays / disorders, and emotional challenges. Some of these include PTSD, ADHD, OCD, Autism, Down Syndrome, TBI, Amputation, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida and Blindness to name a few.
The vision of BWC2 is to create and build a working Equine Rescue and Rehabilitation Facility/Sanctuary in every major city across the United States. BWC2 acquires horses that have been mistreated, neglected, unwanted, abused and/or slaughter-bound. All of our horses will have a home for life.
