Non-Profit: Santa Clarita Child & Family Center
Guest: Cheryl Jones
Cheryl Jones, Vice President of Marketing and Community Outreach of the SCV Child and Family Center, joins Janice in-studio to discuss the benefits that the non-profit organization provides as well as its upcoming fundraising events!
The Child and Family Center bases its programs on local issues in Santa Clarita. One of the prevalent issues that the organization hopes to tackle is anxiety and depression, from infants to adults as old as 25 years old. The center also provides outpatient services, in-home services, child abuse prevention programs, training and consultation, and much more.
The Child & Family Center helps build a healthy Santa Clarita Valley by providing mental health, behavioral and education services to children, adults and families.
Vision
At the Child & Family Center, children, adults, and families can easily access the help they need in a safe and nurturing environment. Responding to the community’s need for services, the Child & Family Center continues to grow and expand. Reaching out to new areas of need, the Center provides children and adults the opportunity to live in healthy, supportive relationships that encourage them to become responsible, caring citizens.
