On this edition of Eye On The Valley, Matt is joined by a variety of guests. Matt is first joined by the Newhall School District’s new superintendent Leticia Hernandez, who speaks about the dual language immersion program and the importance of learning two languages at a young age.
Later, Matt welcomes in Tim Trauig from SCV Guardians who lets us know that the Patriots Day Event being put on by the group is being postponed due to inclement weather. They do however discuss the wonderful support that Guardians continues to provide for current and retired military and first responders in our community.
Lastly, Martha Spansel Pellico and Chad Powell, the directors of SCVi Charter join the show to discuss the school’s project-based curriculum and it’s focus on student growth.
