On today’s show, your host Matt Watson talks with Shirelle Gonzalez, College Counselor with SCV ilead’s Empower Generations.  At Empower Generations, they work to educate learners who may be pregnant or are teen parents.  They offer a flexible schedule to help achieve their educational goals as well as focus on job placement and child care.  They include many of the same programs you’ll find at other SCVi campuses including career training, individualized learning programs and even clubs.  Go to empowergenerations.org for more information.  SCVi and iLead is a network of free, public charter schools with campuses in Castaic, Lancaster and Agua Dulce as well as an online learning program and home study program.

In the second half of the show, Matt welcomes Mentalist Allen Gittelson.  Allen talks about his skill and interest he developed as a young child as he prepares for his upcoming show.
