On today’s show, your host Matt Watson welcomes Kari McCoy of LEAP Children’s Museum.  LEAP is hosting a 5-week long pop-up starting June 7th. The event will feature hands-on learning opportunities for kids ages 2-8 in science, technology, art and career paths and takes place at Valencia Town Center from 9am-4pm.  Go to leapmuseum.org for more information.

In the second half of the show, Matt welcomes Allison Bravo, Director of iLead School Initiatives and Dr. Josh Wentz, Director and Founder of the Mission Opera House.  Together, they talk about CTE pathways at iLead and SCVi schools and their focus on arts, media and entertainment for learners.  Go to ilead.org  for more information.  SCVi and iLead is a network of free, public charter schools with campuses in Castaic, Agua Dulce, Lancaster as well as an online program and home study program.
