On today’s show, your host Matt Watson talks with four learners from the 2025 SCVi Graduating class, Quinn, Isabella, Madi and Anabelle.  Together, they talk about their experience with iLead as they’ve been with SCVi since Kindergarten.  They reminisce on their time and their favorite parts of their school career which includes Project Based Learning projects like the “Tiny House” and learning to fly a glider.  Go to ileadsantaclarita.org for more information on the free public charter schools with campuses in Castaic, Agua Dulce and Lancaster, as well as a home study program and online learning program.

In the second half of the show, Matt welcomes Matt Nelson, CEO of the Boys And Girls Club.  They talk about the offerings of the club which includes homework assistance, arts and crafts, sports and after school care for $60 a year.  They are hosting their annual fundraiser on May 31 with proceeds going to the needs of the children who attend the Boys And Girls Club.  Go to scvbgc.org for more information.
