Life Leadership with Alex Urbina – October 6, 2014
On today’s show Host Alex Urbina sits down and talks with facilitators and learners from SCVi Charter School about leadership among the youth and developing a new way to look at life.
What does it mean to be in service to yourself and to others, Alex said.
Today it is hard for students and the youth to be a part of the world offline and go out and help others in the community. At SCVi Charter school that is part of the enrichment and part of the curriculum.
To go out in the community and let the students develop traits that otherwise not have been taught.
Watching a class or person have an idea and run with it and get excited about it, it just really makes it worth it, a SCVi facilitator said.
