On today’s show, Alex welcomes Jazmine back into the studio after guest host Fred Arnold filled in last week.

With this week’s program falling on New Year’s Eve Eve, the Urbina’s discuss what changes they would like to commit to in 2017.

Rather than waiting until the new year to make positive changes to your life, people should continuously self-reflect and try to improve with each passing day.

Alex suggests that individuals should shift their focus away from the specific act(s) they would like to change, and instead concentrate on behavioral changes and, really, why that person decided to make the adjustment in the first place.

Being present, more self-aware, and adopting a more conscious mindset will enable a person to make less reactive, more mindful decisions.

Later in the program, Alex gives his philosophy on how parents can avoid enabling their children.
