Families in Action: April 18, 2016

April Is Alcohol Awareness Month Continued

Families in Action is going to continue to let our collective voice be heard about drunk driving, and with the introduction of universal law of ignition interlock devices to every automobile, we can save Americans not only from themselves, but from destroying innocent lives.

The great Michael Dougherty did some research over the past week on the benefits of how much good ignition interlock devices project to do:

In 2012, 10,322 people were killed in alcohol related motor vehicle deaths.

“Universal installation of interlock devices can save up to 65,000 lives per year.” – Michael Dougherty
