KHTS Radio Santa Clarita Radio – Santa Clarita News
Hosts: Alex Urbina
Topic: Seeing Everything As A Learning Moment
Guest: Mary Tan
On this episode of The Inspirational Parent, Host Alex Urbina welcomes special guest Mary Tan to talk about having the ability or being conscious enough that you see everything as a learning moment.
The key is that you have to be willing to see things as a learning moment, Alex said. To be able to become a student again. If we operate from a place of “Know it All” we prohibit ourselves from being open to learning.

“It does not matter if you are two, six or sixty, we have to see ourselves as eternal students of life,” Mary said. “The moment you stop learning, you’re done.”
The magic of life is noticing the little things and taking an appreciation for things you didn’t know yesterday or even an hour ago, Tan said. When you lose that, you lose yourself.
