Covered Chiropractic Care — August 28, 2019
On this episode of The Senior Hour with Dr. Gene Dorio and Barbara Cochran, Dr. Thomas Polucki joins the show to talk about covered chiropractic care that healthcare services could provide to seniors. Dr. Dorio talks about how he recommends patients to seek chiropractic treatment as opposed to going in for surgery. Dr. Dorio also talks about how too many times he has seen the recommended surgeries for back pain have more harmful results than positive results, and that chiropractic care can work as a “barrier” against having to get surgery for an issue that does not require it. Dr. Polucki can provide seniors with the chiropractic care that they need to help them avoid surgery. Dr. Polucki also talks about how important Nitric Oxide is as something that can have a positive impact on many different areas in the body.
Later in the show, Dr. Polucki and Dr. Dorio talk about how the use of infrared light technology and other advancements in chiropractic technologies can continue to reduce the need for surgeries. Dr. Polucki takes the time to explain that he is not anti-surgery or anti-pharmaceutical, rather he prefers those treatments be used in an emergency scenario. Dr. Polucki explains that the surgeries and pharmaceuticals can be avoided by preemptive treatments that can be done to prevent the need for a surgery or the use of pharmaceuticals. Walking this line is something Dr. Dorio says he does on a regular basis, and Dr. Polucki talks about how he tries to assure his patients that his treatments help people no matter what.
Listen in as Barbara Cochran, Dr. Gene Dorio, and Dr. Thomas Polucki talk about covered chiropractic care, and the benefits of preemptive chiropractic care.
