After weeks of average and below-average temperatures, and the recent dousing of rain in Santa Clarita and throughout the Southland, temperatures reach extreme highs as residents get ready for a summer preview….

High temperatures on Sunday spanned the 80 degree range, and today are expected to reach 90 degrees in Santa Clarita.  Clear skies will prevail as a result of this high pressure system settling over California, and these warm temperatures will linger all week long.
