S. Brigette Loden is Vice President, Development for Providence Health & Services Foundation.  The Foundation was established for the sole purpose of providing funding for the Medical Centers of Providence Holy Cross, Providence Saint Joseph, and Providence Tarzana.

Loden has 13 years of professional experience in nonprofit healthcare fundraising.  Prior to joining Providence in 2000, Loden served as Executive Director of the Arthritis Foundation, Southern California Chapter Valleys’ Branch. Prior to entering the nonprofit arena, Loden had a lucrative career in the brokerage industry, working for companies such as Drexel Burnham Lambert and Smith Barney. 

At a young age, Loden’s family encouraged her to volunteer in fundraising activities.  Throughout her life she has enjoyed helping organizations such as the Richstone Family Center, Variety Children’s Charities, and the Milken Family Foundation.

Loden joined Providence Holy Cross Foundation as a Major Gifts Officer and was instrumental in rebuilding the Foundation which had been nearly dormant since 1996.  In 2002, she conducted the first ever capital campaign in Providence Holy Cross Medical Center’s forty-year history and raised $7.5 million to expand their Emergency Department and Trauma Center.   Additionally, she managed gifts in the five-and six-figure range.  During her nine years at Providence she has raised $25 million for building projects, equipment, nursing education and community outreach programs. She was promoted to Director of Development in January 2005, Vice President of Development in November 2006, and in 2008 she was given the title of Vice President of Development for Providence Health & Services Foundation for the San Fernando & Santa Clarita Valleys Service Area.

Loden is married and resides in the Santa Clarita Valley.
