The 2017 KHTS Home and Garden Show is adding new features to its successful 2016 show at Santa Clarita’s Central Park.

The two-day event is the largest local trade show, with the 2017 Santa Clarita home and garden show scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, April 29 and 30, 2017 returning once again to Santa Clarita’s Central Park.

In addition to the KHTS Home and Garden Show, the weekend event also encompasses the KHTS Emergency Expo and Earth Day – Arbor Day, in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita.

The KHTS Marketplace is also being expanded for the 2017 show.

“We anticipate over 500 vendors joining us for our mega weekend event, in addition to our Home and Garden vendors, we will also have exhibitors for our Emergency Expo, Earth Day/Arbor Day in partnership with the City of Santa Clarita and approximately 150 arts and crafters, boutiques and home décor vendors selling a wide variety of products,” shared KHTS owner Carl Goldman.

“It’s four shows, one weekend, one location and the price is right, free admission. Last year we added in food trucks. Those were a huge hit and will be expanded for this coming year. Our 2017 show plans to also add an RV (Recreational Vehicle) show to our line-up.”

Santa Clarita Home and Garden Show

Over 15,000 Santa Clarita residents visited the 2016 KHTS Home and Garden Show.

“We’re adding even more booths for 2017. We mapped out space to accommodate 525 booths for this coming year’s show.”

“We already have over 200 booths committed and the show is still ten months away,” stated one of the show’s producers, Jazmine Urbina. “The response from last year’s vendors has been phenomenal, a number of categories are already sold out.”

“Unlike many other Home and Garden shows, we limit the amount of vendors from each category,” Goldman added. “It allows for a better experience for our visitors and it gives participating businesses a better opportunity to capture a larger amount of qualified leads. The majority of our exhibitors are Santa Clarita businesses with stellar reputations. They’ve been around a long time, so homeowners can trust they’ll have a good experience. It’s a chance to learn from the experts in every home improvement category.”

The show has a kid’s play area and plenty of other fun activities.

The Shakey Quakey earthquake house will be returning, along with many emergency vehicles.

Last year’s show added the Sheriff’s Mobile Emergency Vehicle. That is also slated for the 2017 show.

Every year the Los Angeles County Fire Department demonstrates their “Jaws of Life.”

The City of Santa Clarita and Henry Mayo Hospital have special booths devoted to emergency preparedness.

KHTS Emergency Expo

It’s a great place to have fun with the kids, shop in our marketplace, and meet with the local experts to learn about the latest in home improvement. Everything from furniture to hot tubs are on display.

In the Earth Day/Arbor Day section, the City of Santa Clarita is handing out free trees and shrubs, mulch, even hundreds of thousands of ladybugs.

The ladybugs were a huge hit as were the free tomato plants we distribute each year, courtesy of Green Thumb Nursery.
