49th Annual Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show Returns To Ventura County Fairgrounds

Ventura County Artists are set to shine at the 49th Annual Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show scheduled for next weekend.

Local artists are putting the last-minute touches on their works to showcase Oct. 1-3 when the 49th annual Harvest Festival® Original Art & Craft Show welcomes back attendees to the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

Family-owned and operated, the beloved tradition returns with local artisans among the nation’s finest artists and crafters eager to showcase their newest creations for a one-of-a-kind shopping experience unlike any other.

Following state Covid protocols and safety guidelines, the Festival offers a safe, full day of fun for all ages with more than 24,000 handmade creations from exhibitors, with specialty foods, strolling performers, a Kidszone, demonstrations, contests, and more.

Giving back to the community, patrons who bring non-perishables for donation to Project Understanding will receive $2 off admission. Kids 12 and under are free, and tickets are good for the entire weekend.

Offering up their one-of-a-kind originals will be Patricia Lelie of Camarillo with her fabulous décor gourd art; Robin Golden of Port Hueneme with Jewelry by Robin; and Ventura’s own Laura Bustillos with Horse and Carriage Company custom string art; Connie Gunderson Handbags and Shonna Song with California Cut apparel.

There is always something new to discover at the west coast’s largest and most prestigious indoor showcase. From jewelry, ceramics, blown glass and woodcarvings, to holiday décor, clothing, eclectic keepsakes, specialty foods, accessories, furniture, ornaments and more, each item is an expression of originality from artists who share their passions with a personal touch.

General admission is $9. Seniors (62+) and military are $7. Youths (13-17) are $4, and free to kids 12 and under.

Hours are Friday and Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. Participating local benefactors include Macaroni Kid Camarillo, MyGym Ventura, and the Billy Clower Dance Studio. Check with the facility for parking fees.
