Canyon Country Woman Accused Of Fatally Stabbing Girlfriend 71 Times Returns To Court

A Canyon Country woman suspected of fatally stabbing her girlfriend 71 times returned to court Wednesday, over two years after the original crime reportedly took place.

Pamela Michelle Walker, 36, is accused of fatally stabbing her 46-year-old girlfriend, Christine Diane McQueen, who was also known as Christine Himmle.

On April 8, 2017, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a report of a possible fatal stabbing on the 18700 block of Vista Del Canon, near Via Princessa and Sierra Highway.

When deputies arrived, they learned that Walker and McQueen allegedly got into a verbal altercation that turned physically violent, according to homicide detectives investigating the case.

Sheriff’s officials forced their way into the home and discovered McQueen, who was pronounced dead at the scene with multiple stab wounds.

Walker was arrested later that day at McQueen’s mother’s home in Toluca Lake.

In June 2018, Walker pleaded not guilty at the San Fernando Courthouse.

She is currently being held at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood with bail set at $2,020,000.

Walker is expected to return to court on June 6 for pretrial.
