A naked man was removed from a Metrolink train for being under the influence of a controlled substance in Newhall, Tuesday.

Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station assisted Transportation Service deputies with an unruly passenger, according to Lt. Lasko from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“At approximately 4:10 p.m., the conductor approached the individual for fare, and the passenger declined to present a ticket,” said Scott Johnson, spokesperson for Metrolink.

“We believe he will be booked for being under the influence of a controlled substance,” Lasko added.

Officials on scene claimed the naked individual had methamphetamine with their belongings.

“The individual became unruly, a deputy on board contacted the local station,” Johnson said, “and when the train arrived in Newhall, he was arrested.”
