Dodgers Go Down Quietly In 2018 World Series

For the second straight year, the Dodgers watched another team celebrate a World Series championship on the Dodger Stadium field.

There’s a lot that can be and has already been written about the state of the Los Angeles Dodgers throughout their disappointing World Series performance.

From the curious lineup arrangements against Red Sox left-handers to the completely ill-advised pitching moves. They barely got away with it against the Milwaukee Brewers. They were overwhelmingly exposed by Boston.

The facts will be a bitter pill to swallow for Dodgers’ Faithful: they were thoroughly outplayed by a better team, and their future Hall of Fame pitcher has quickly deteriorated to nothing more than just another guy.

Clayton Kershaw, the 30-year-old-35-million-dollar-man, was a liability for the second straight World Series.

The Dodgers scored on their first at-bat in Game 5, seemingly the only way they know how (home runs), and had just two more hits the rest of the game. They struck out eleven times. They’re probably still striking out today.

Championship Windows only stay open for so long.

The Dodgers’ might’ve just closed.
