Facey Medical Group plans to open a 37,000-square-foot medical office building at 14550 Soledad Canyon Road in Canyon Country.

The new facility is expected to house Facey’s primary care physicians and specialists, an expanded eye care center and an extended-hours clinic by Exer More Than Urgent Care.

Teresa David, Facey’s COO, noted she is proud to expand services to the Santa Clarita community after 30 years of services.

“This is an exciting step for Facey, which has been serving the Santa Clarita Valley for more than three decades, and continues to expand care in this growing community,” said David. “The new clinic has room to grow and provides numerous patient-friendly services.”

Among those are:

  •  Same-day access to adult and pediatric primary care
  •  Clinical environment that is designed for team-based care
  •  Extended adult primary care hours on Mondays
  •  Expanded radiology services, including ultrasound and mammography
  •  Expanded optometry and Eye Care Center
  •  On-site urgent care services provided by Exer, opening late this year
  •  24-hour telephone access to an on-call Facey physician
  •  Comprehensive patient education and disease management programs
  •  Online patient management of health and appointments via smartphone using MyChart from Providence
  •  Connected to Providence hospitals via unified health record system, ensuring coordinated care

Anyone currently using the Facey facility on Soledad across from the River Circle Villas should be aware that the medical group is planning to relocate to the new facility.

Exer is expected to provide emergency department-trained physicians to staff each location, which is scheduled to open by the end of the year.

Exer plans to offer medical attention to anyone suffering from serious injuries or illnesses, whether or not they are Facey patients.

Exer currently has nine locations in the Los Angeles Area, including one in Stevenson Ranch and two in the San Fernando Valley. Facey and Exer are part of the Providence Health & Services family.

  1. Between Mammoth Ln and SR-14. Next to the SR-14 south on-ramp. Very nice.
