The William S. Hart Union High School District is searching for a Santa Clarita resident to join their Measure SA Citizens’ Oversight Committee, according to Dave Caldwell, the Hart Public Relations Officer.

The William S. Hart Union High School District is finding a new member for their Measure SA Citizens’ Oversight Committee. 

According to officials, the newest member should be active in one or more of the following areas; Business Organization, Senior Citizens’ Organization, Taxpayer Organization or Hart Parent and Parent/Teacher Organization. 

If active within a Business Organization, the organization should be located inside district boundary limits, according to officials with the district. 

Measure SA is a $300 million general obligation bond passed in 2008 by Santa Clarita voters. The purpose of the measure is to fund improvement and construction projects at Santa Clarita Valley’s high schools and junior highs.

Committee members serve in two-year terms, with a possibility of three consecutive terms. The committee meets six times a year according to Caldwell.
