On Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m., Henry Mayo Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Kim Brown is scheduled to speak on heart health nutrition, according to hospital officials.

“Her talk is set to cover foods Santa Clarita residents should reduce or avoid, fat and sodium guidelines, how to read food labels and more,” said officials in a statement.

“Electrophysiology studies are tests that help doctors understand the nature of abnormal heart rhythms,” said hospital officials. “The results of these tests can help a patient and their doctor decide what potential treatments to pursue.”

Both lectures are free to the public and are scheduled to be held at the Henry Mayo Center, located at 23803 McBean Pkwy in Valencia.
