Deputies arrested one person for possession of a firearm after he drove to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station to ‘report bad people.’

The suspect was first seen manipulating a handgun inside a vehicle in the Valencia Target parking lot, the individual then drove to the station to inform deputies there were ‘bad people’ in the area, according to Sgt. Scott Shoemaker of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station

“The suspect did not point the gun in the direction of any people,” said Shoemaker. “There were no injuries reported.”

The individual drove down Magic Mountain Parkway from Target to the station with the firearm in the vehicle, said Shoemaker.

Sheriff’s deputies encircled the vehicle with guns drawn as the suspect was driving into the station, according to officials.

The suspect has not been identified and is still being processed by Sheriff’s officials.
