One blood donation can save up to three lives, and National Statistics from the American Red Cross show that someone needs a unit of blood every two seconds.
On donation day, participants will go through evaluation to establish eligibility to donate. A valid ID is necessary to donate.
Residents interested in donating at the blood drive can register here by using sponsor code “cityofsantaclarita.” Participants who wish to save time on donation day can save 15 minutes of the process by using RapidPass. To learn more about RapidPass, click here.
The community blood drive will be held in the Century Room of City Hall, located at 23920 Valencia Blvd, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 20.
