The 4th of July celebrations may be over, but don’t despair. There are a ton of family fun activities right here in Santa Clarita to keep you in the festive spirit.
Here are my top 5 picks for family fun in Santa Clarita this weekend:
Latin Music and Cultural Festival
LA SummerFEST kicks off this weekend with an event sure to make even the laziest of families jump to their feet; The Latin Music and Cultural Festival.
This first event of the festival takes place Saturday, July 11th from 3 to 9:30 pm at Rivendale Park in Towsley Canyon. The free fun involves arts and crafts, food trucks, family fun, and AMAZING MUSIC AND PERFORMANCES. You can get details on their website.
The incredible Latin inspired music will not only get you on your feet, it may even cause you to dance around a bit too!
Dine in Movie Night at the Aquatic Center
Is everything AWESOME? Are you sure? If not, get a heavy dose of awesome fun with the Dive in Movie at the Santa Clarita Aquatic Center.
If you haven’t guessed, the dive in movie is The Lego Movie, starting at 7pm on Saturday, July 11th and the cost is $10 pp. Pre-registration is suggested so check out their website.
You can float in the pool or stay dry on the deck while enjoying a fun family movie with your kids. If that isn’t “awesome”, I don’t know what is.
