The Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency (SCV Water) is set to start their slate of free monthly gardening classes, preparing individuals towards better landscape accommodation throughout the changing months, according to officials.

The start of the autumn season typically ensures cooler and more manageable weather, and SCV Water officials are encouraging residents to become more active and conscious about their yard work and landscaping.

The programming for October includes:

• Thursday, Oct 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • “Irrigating a Sustainable Landscape”
• Saturday, Oct 19 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • “Trees for the SCV”

All classes are to be held at SCV Water, located at 27234 Bouquet Canyon Road.

To register and access a complete list of classes for 2019, visit SCV Water here or call (661) 513-1230.
