With the Fourth of July next week, do you know where to go to share oohs and aahs over a firework show with friends and family? KHTS has put together a list of fireworks offered in our Santa Clarita Valley.
There are three shows being put on professionally for Santa Clarita residents to admire this Fourth of July week.
City of Santa Clarita Show
At 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, the City of Santa Clarita is hosting its annual fireworks show at the Westfield Valencia Town Center.
Watch the magnificent fireworks show while listening to the soundtrack broadcast live on KHTS AM 1220 and 98.1 FM.
Six Flags Magic Mountain
Six Flags Magic Mountain is set to host a four-day Fourth of July Celebration.
Starting Saturday, July 1 through Tuesday, July 4, Six Flags is set to host a firework show each night at 9 p.m.
Stevenson Ranch Show
After a several-year hiatus, the Stevenson Ranch firework show is returning.
However, the show is on Monday, July 3. The Stevenson Ranch firework show is scheduled to take place at Richard H. Rioux Memorial Park.
The park is set to open at 6 p.m.
Officials are urging residents to attend one of the three fireworks shows and not put on your own display for your neighborhood.
Personal Firework Use
In the City of Santa Clarita and the County of Los Angeles, it is illegal to possess, sell or use fireworks – including those that are labeled “Safe and Sane” – such as sparklers, snaps, smoke balls and any item that explodes.
“Fourth of July is a time to celebrate with friends and family, so as first responders, I urge all of our residents to not use illegal fireworks and to also remember to designate a driver if your party will include alcohol,” said Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Captain Justin Diez in a previous story. “Deputies will cite anyone setting off fireworks and arrest those who are driving under the influence. We want to make sure that all of our residents stay safe this Fourth of July.”
In Santa Clarita, fireworks are a violation of the Santa Clarita Municipal Code, Health and Safety Code and Los Angeles County Fire Code.
Help Keep The Public Safe
The public is encouraged to report illegal fireworks anonymously by calling the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station at (661) 260-4000. Residents can also report illegal fireworks using the City’s online Resident Service Center
This information is expected to be used for future enforcement action and to document use throughout the City. Additionally, residents have the chance to earn $500 for reporting illegal firework use to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Please do not dial 9-1-1 to report illegal fireworks unless it is a life-threatening emergency.
