Leonardo Rosales, 22, of Copper Hill Drive, was living at an in-home day care center on 24015 Copper Hill Drive in Valencia, where he was arrested Aug. 31.
Rosales was pleaded no contest and sentenced June 6, 2013, to one count of California penal code section 261.5 (c), which is unlawful sex with a minor who is more than three years younger than the perpetrator.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Officers conducted their yearly Operation Safe Halloween and found a Santa Clarita sex offender living with children, officials said Friday.
He was arrested for the crime in August 2012.
He was sentenced to time served, which was four days in jail, three years of formal probation, restitution and not to be around children under 18 years old unless he has specific permission in advance from the Los Angeles County Probation Department.
A Nov. 25 hearing is expected to include a report from the Probation Department and a formal determination of his status — as far as whether he was in violation of probation — is expected to be made.

From a previous story:
“We place a probation hold so that there’s no releasing (Rosales) on his own recognizance until the court hears the matter,” said Eric Newby, with the Los Angeles County Probation Department.
County officials were still looking into the specifics behind the charge, he added.
The SEO team learned that the mother runs what appeared to be a child day care service out of her home.
A female tenant who also lived in the residence with her infant son and 9-year old daughter told SEO she had no idea the man was a convicted sex offender.
Rosales is being held without bail.
Officials did not release the name of the day care center.
When the Special Enforcement Officers set out in the pre-dawn hours of Halloween, they were looking to see if 66 of the Department’s highest risk child predators are in compliance with their court orders ranging from no child porn, computers, phones, to candy or costumes in their homes used to entice children on a day famous for temptation.
Rosales is still in custody on a no-bail hold, according to Probation Department officials.
His case was transferred to the custody of the Orange County superior court system, where it was initially processed, to the Los Angeles County court system Nov. 4, 2013, according to Gwen Vieau, spokeswoman for the Orange County Superior Courts.
