“There are some leftover gusty winds here and there and a wind advisory is in effect till two,” said Joe Sirard, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service. “Gusts are expected to be 35 to 40 miles per hour, but local gusts will be at about 20 to 25 miles per hour.”
The winds are expected to decrease in the afternoon, but there may be some residual winds blowing at about 10 to 20 miles per hour locally till Saturday evening, according to Sirard.
“There may be some leftover local gusts, but they should be clear by tonight,” said Sirard.
The remainder of the weekend is expected to be free of any strong winds and will remain dry until next week when rains are predicted.
