Adopt Juno, a sweet pup from the Castaic Animal Care Center who is ready for a forever home with a loving family.

Last month, Juno arrived at the Castaic Animal Care Center looking for a forever family.

“Juno is slow to warm up, but when she finally does, she is playful and loving,” said the Castaic Animal Center staff.

Juno is listed as a 2-year-old, 40-pound female German Shepherd who is available for adoption and ready to find a forever home and family.

“This sweet pup also enjoys affection and treats,” said Castaic Animal Center staff members.

Juno, a large and lovable pup, is looking for a home where she can thrive. Due to a past in-home altercation, staff recommends she be placed in a household without small dogs to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety.

Juno is house trained and knows how to use the doggy door and was very playful with teens, added to her previous owners.

Staff from the shelter have said that Juno has basic obedience skills and walks “politely” with a slight pull.

Those interested in meeting Juno (#A5639594) can visit during open hours Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
