Make This Weekend Less ‘Ruff’ By Adopting A Dog From Castaic

What better way to spend your weekend than with a new best friend from the Castaic Animal Shelter?

Meet Snogo, #A5457367, an 8-year-old Rottweiler who came to the Castaic Animal shelter as a stray, and is now looking for a loving home.

This big boy Snogo, weighs in at a whopping 80 lbs., he’s a big boy with an even bigger heart, according to officials with the Castaic Animal Shelter.

Snogo knows basic commands like sit, he takes treats gently and walks like a pro on leash.

He loves being around people and will happily lean in for pets and affection.

This four-legged friend is looking for an adult-only home with no other dogs.

He will thrive as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention.

“If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who still has plenty of pep in his step, this sweet Rottie could be your perfect match,” Shelter officials said.

On the fence to adopt because of all the fees? Well, dreams do come true.

To celebrate April 11th as National Pets day, adoption fees for dogs 35+lbs are being waived from April 11th through May 10th.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
