Riley, an 8-year-old Black Mouth Cur and Black and Tan Hound mix, is looking for a new family to give her the love and care she deserves.
Riley, identified by animal ID A5805320, arrived at the SCV Animal Care Center as a stray with a microchip. Unfortunately, staff have been unable to reach her previous family, and she is now available for adoption.
Although staff are sad that Riley’s original family has not been found, they believe it is clear she was loved and had a strong bond with her people. Now, this sweet girl has plenty of love left to share with a new family.
Weighing approximately 48 pounds, Riley is described as a calm dog who also enjoys being playful and energetic. She has basic obedience skills and appears to be house-trained, making her a promising companion for a family looking for a dog with some training already under her belt.
At 8 years old, Riley still has plenty of life and affection to offer. Her combination of a relaxed personality and playful spirit could make her a wonderful addition to a loving home.
Anyone interested in meeting Riley and giving her a fresh start can contact the SCV Animal Care Center for more information about adoption.
The SCV Animal Care Center is located at 31044 Charlie Canyon Road in Castaic. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, email [email protected].
