This year’s performance, Shakespeare’s “Othello,” includes all the jealousy, intrigue, romance, and “plotting” set in current times, according to officials.
The three final performances are set to begin at 8 p.m. Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night, as well.
Officials said that this season has been going very well with outstanding opera performances and a performance by the Grammy award-winning jazz band, California Feetwarmers.
“It’s been a wonderful season, a very fulfilling 8th season and we look forward to a wonderful closing weekend,” said David Stears, producer LA SummerFEST.

Nearly half of the costs incurred have been covered and the social media campaign will continue to be open until Monday, August 14, according to officials.
Residents are encouraged to bring friends, a chair/blanket, picnic, bottle of wine, (or purchase it there), and a jacket as it gets cool at the mouth of the canyon, then enjoy Professional theater without leaving our Santa Clarita Valley and for FREE.
