Cinema Veterinary Center has helped animals of all kinds and their owners for almost 10 years right here in the heart of Santa Clarita.
Owner Dr. Jaimie Ronchetto and her wonderful team always put their best foot forward and provide the best care and professionalism towards every patient (and human owner) that walks through their door. Animals that Cinema specializes include: dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, and rodents.
Dr. Jaimie talked with KHTS about all things Cats and shared some interesting facts about our feline friends. Cats are very independent animals and can sleep about 16 hours a day.
Cats also tend to be nocturnal, meaning they are active in the nighttime.

Cats are also obligate carnivores, which means they strictly depend on eating meat for their survival. Plants and vegetation do not provide enough nutrients to cats, big or small.
Another pointer is cats are picky about their litter boxes! Dr. Jaimie told KHTS that she recommends cat owners to keep using the same litter for their cats, because they don’t like the change.
Dr. Jaimie also pointed out that some recessive genes linked to white cats, like having blue eyes could also be deaf. She explained how it’s quite common that white cats with blue eyes have deafness to any degree.
