As a client of PCS Group, Stein and his entire staff have around-the-clock access to a program called “Help Desk,” which allows employees to simply pick up the phone to receive immediate assistance for computer issues.PCS Group Client Discusses Experience With IT Assistance

“We call it remote monitoring,” said Ricardo Martinez of PCS Group. “In Brandan’s case, what we’ll do is we’ll have a technician on standby. Anytime an employee of Brandan has a computer issue… they just pick up the phone, we log a ticket, a technician jumps on there and he’s able to monitor what’s going on with that particular workstation, assess it and see if he can fix it on the spot remotely.”

If the technician decides the problem can’t be fixed remotely, an on-call technician will be immediately dispatched to the business location, Martinez added.

When Stein’s server went down recently, jeopardizing the operation of 100 plus vehicles scheduled throughout the day, PCS Group technicians responded immediately.

“We can have no down time– we rely on the software and technology,” he said. “Immediately on another server they were able to have us up and running, and within a few hours they had our server fixed and back in action.”

Another IT problem PCS Group technicians were able to resolve for Stein’s company was an ongoing issue with emails.

PCS was able to take our emails and host it on their servers, and we’ve had no issues since then.”

“One of the things we’re very sensitive about is the client’s needs,” Martinez added. “What sets (Exclusive Sedan) apart is they focus on that high level of service, so you can’t have someone saying, ‘Hey, you didn’t get my email for my reservation?’”

Discussing “high priority” technology needs is one of the first things PCS Group does with new clients in order to ensure those things are always running, according to Martinez.

“In our contracts we guarantee our clients certain things, and that’s why they come to us,” Stein said. “We’re not hanging papers on the wall anymore like when I first got in the business, or operating out of notebooks. We’re relying on this technology to be fast, quick and efficient.”
