Pet Me Happy Treats and the Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce are hosting an official Grand Opening with ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, July 11.

The Grand Opening of Pet Me Happy Treats will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the ribbon-cutting will take place at 6:15 p.m.

Nadine and Stephen K. Peeples, co-founders of Pet Me Happy Treats, will welcome invited VIPs and members of the SCV business community.

Shelter Hope, Happy Pets Veterinary Center (in Valencia at Newhall Ranch Road and Dickason), and Canyon Pet Center (located in Canyon Country on Soledad Canyon Road) sell Pet Me Happy’s popular cookie-shaped Artisan Dog Treats made with Oregon Blueberries.

On July 1, Pet Me Happy Treats officially launched its updated e-commerce website, PetMeHappy.com, where customers outside the SCV can purchase their healthy Artisan Dog Treats in 2 oz., 6 oz. and 12 oz. resealable bags, as well as in bulk quantities from 1 to 1,000 pounds or more.

“But we’re not just about selling treats,” Stephen K. Peeples said. “Pet Me Happy is also about sharing experiences with our fellow pet-maniacs, and advocating pet adoption over euthanasia. Our site includes original articles about our four-legged pals, written by our pack of very talented, knowledgeable and passionate Pet Parents.

“You’ll read how we created these treats in our Canyon Country kitchen, how we tested them on us first, then scores of dogs until everyone loved them,” Peeples said. “You’ll read about how we adopted an 8-1/2- year-old rescue and how our dog Lennon instantly became Pet Me Happy Treats’ official canine mascot. And you’ll find out why blueberries are as good for dogs as they are for people.”

Pet people everywhere can keep up with Lennon and Pet Me Happy Treats on social media by signing up to receive the “Pet Tales” newsletter and joining the Pet Me Happy community on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Pinterest.

“We can’t wait to celebrate Pet Me Happy,” said Dani Caouette, owner of Shelter Hope Pet Shop. “It’s going to be ‘Pet Me Happy Day’ at Shelter Hope!”
