During this conference call, everyone in the family unit has the opportunity to express their current feelings, their progress in the recovery process, and reconnect with each other as they all continue to recover. This is just one of the ways that Desert Solace creates opportunities for the person being admitted and their family members to remain connected with one another, and prevent the feeling of being isolated or removed from society while recovering.
In addition to the weekly conference call, Desert Solace opens their doors once a month to the families of the person currently receiving treatment or therapy. This is another great way for families to not only remain connected to their loved one while they are there, but also see the treatment program for themselves up close.
